What kind of plant has dark purple leaves and purple flowers?

What is the name of a plant (branch?) with white, round, flat, disc-like leaves?

• I found a faux stem of this plant at a craft store but it didn't have the name on the tag. It looked like a branch of some kind, but the only flowers/leaves on it were these round, flat, white discs. Any idea what this plant is called???

  You got it from a craft store . It is a branch ( most probably polished ) ! what you found on them are round ( most probably semi round ) flat , disc and white in color . What you have on your hand is a decorative piece of wood ( branch) with a Bracket fungus growing on it . It is a fungus related to Mushrooms and NOT a leaf of that branch . These fungi grow on wood and draw nourishment from it . It will remain as it is for a long time . No leaf can survive like that !!
