What is the affect of temperature on plant growth?

which temperature are plants more likely ot grow in: high, low or room and why? what affects do each different types of temperatures have. For example : would a mung bean grow efficiently and healthily in 25 degrees celsius, 20 degrees celsius or 12 degrees celsius? why? please answer soon. thanks:)

It depends on the plant and its natural habitat. The plant is in its natural habitat due to an evolutionary advantage, therefore a plant in the sahara and a plant in the tundra are going to acquire different temperatures. Overall usually the warmer the better, but not really hot to where the plant dries out, then again different plants have different tolerances to heat.
