How do i isolate a in p=a+b+c?

How do i isolate a from p=a+b+c with steps written plz?

  • Answer:

a = p - b - c ---> in one step(subtract b & c from both sides) BTW: I use the subtraction stuff only when I'm helping folks with thier math, at my age we just take stuff to the other side and change the sign. lol , of course you are welcome to try it too, you may find it much faster and easier.
