    An ecosystem is a system of interdependent organisms which share the same habitat, in an area functioning together with all of the physical (abiotic) factors of the environment. Ecosystems can be permanent or temporary. Likewise , in ANY given locality , there are BIOTIC ( Living things ) components . Like all the microorganisms , all the plants and all the animals including man. They are all interdependent and form an harmonious relationship between the BIOTIC and ABIOTIC components . This is called "ECOSYSTEM ' of that area . Thank you !
