There are no plants with toxic vapors that I know of. Monkshood is the only one that I ever heard of causing poisoning symptoms from just touching the plant. Poison ivy will cause reactions in some people. Cow parsnip will in some people if they break the leaves. Buttercups can cause very damaging burns if you break the plant. There are quite a few like nettles that cause pain but don't really hurt you.
