The radish plants grow faster than the pepper plants.but i don't know why?can you please help me?It's a science fair project.

Rate of growth is inversely proportionate to the life span of that organism. You will notice that trees always grow at a slower rate than the herbs ; as the herbs have a shorter life than the trees. Now you will not be surprised to observe that radish, which is an annual herb grows more rapidly than the pepper that has far longer life.
