What kind of longboard is best for cruising?

  • I'm interested in getting a longboard for cruising, and for transportation... I just don't know what kind of longboard I would need! I know they come in various sizes and shapes, but how would I know what's right for me??

    It really depends on your weight and height. But since you wont be using it for hill bombing or pool riding your pest bet is going to be something In the 37-46 range with little to no flex. As for the shape, really its all just personal choice. The truth is a board is just a board the most important part is hardware. I recommend you try a prebuilt from Riviera or Krown they are on the cheap, a decent intro board, have a variety of graphics to fit all tastes, and can easily be upgraded if you like the sport. Hit ebay for good deals.
