What kind of trailer tie downs should i buy for my jet ski's trailer?

  • I have a 2002 Load rite trailer and a 2002 Yamaha GO800R waverunner and was wondering what is the best type of tie downs to buy for the back of the waverunner.

    Just get some straps. As long as it is strapped in the front you should be good.

I have a stand up jet ski, and I make sure there is a pin through the front of the ski (there is a hole for a pin on mine). If it is a stand up, make sure the handle bars are held down so they don't bounce around. Also make sure to get something for the back of the ski so the the back doesn't bounce around. I prefer the tie downs that are ratchet so that you can tighten them so they don't come apart.
