Answer:
for me skiing took a lot longer to learn but snowboarding was a little bit harder but i learned it pretty fast. I think you could try snowboarding and see if you feel comfortable snowboarding stick with it and if you don't simply go back to skiing. snow boarding is easier to learn but is harder to master but skiing is harder to learn but easier to master.

It took me a few times to learn how to snowboard, but last winter was my first and by the end of the winter I was going on Black Diamonds too. I went every week with my school ski club and took group lessons though. Snowboarding is challenging at first, but once you et the hang of it it's so much fun! I strongly suggest you try it it's soo fun!

I love skiing! Im trying snowboarding this year, I think that both are really hard when your first learning. I would try snowboarding this year to see which one you like better ( thats what im doing!) And, just remeber that practice makes perfect! Have fun! p.s why is this in water sports? lol

if you do end up snowboarding, thats probably what you will be doing the whole time. snowboarding is fun, but its also a lot harder to learn. so i would stick with skiing

Pretty sure this should be in the winter sports category, not water sports... And to answer your question, (I do both), snowboarding is a lot more fun, but is also a lot harder to control and ride in general. I would stick with skiing, because that way you will be able to keep up with your friends a lot easier. However, if you have any experience with boards already (ex. Wakeboard) I would give snowboarding a shot. Whatever you choose, you'll do fine.

If you talk to anyone who has done both, they will say that Snowboarding is harder to learn, but way more fun. I agree with this, as the week I spent boarding in New Zealand were some of the best days of my life! Aaron
