What size snowboard should i use?

What size snowboard would i use?

• I'm 6' and weigh 170lbs and i'm looking into buying my first snowboard but im not quite sure what board size i would use what is the shortest board that i can use and what is the longest. thanks for your help

  I'm about 230 and 5' 11" now and got my first board when i was pushin 200 i got a morrow rv that is 164 cm which is longer. i'm now riding a board that is a 159 and its alot easier to turn. if i were you you might need to go with a wider board depending on how big your feet are. and usually a good board should come about to the bridge of your nose give or take a few inches. I would say for you, get a board in the mid to upper 150s its easier to turn than a longer board. also depending on what you want to do longer is more for down hill where shorter is more for freestyle. Good luck man. I would also wait till april or may or even june at the latest to get the best deals.
