How should I fix my surf board?

Fiber glass on surf board?

  • i got a couple dings i my surf board. Can i fix them with fiber glass? or somthing else. my board is 6' 6"

    if its a ding, yea Sun Cure is the best...but if its a dent or depression like what's on my CI Quad, then it may be factory defects from shipping/storage. if thats the case, ask a shaper or a repair center. theyll tell u whats up (hopefully without sucker punching u into getting it repaired there)

If they're just small dings then go get a Sun Cure ding repair kit, cheap and very easy to DIY: http://surfsource.net/dingrepairguide.html#sun%20cure If they're large dings (i.e., delams or there's damage to the foam) then go see a shaper. Either way don't do any repairs until you've left your stick out of the water for a week, this enables the foam to dry out properly.
