What are some good weight routines for water polo?

Help on water polo please?

  • I have played water polo for one year now and I instantly loved the game. I was wondering what are some techniques for me to do in order for me to boost my playing ability in the water. I am 14. I am 6 feet tall. My weight is 148 and i can bench press 135. I swim for about an hour a day using a 3.3 weighted water polo ball. I try to eat as healthy as possible. Is there anything i can do to help myself in the water??

  • Answer:

Instructions for weight training and an interview with Wolf.

What I strongly recommend to go to the next level is to buy a weight belt and find extra time OUTSIDE OF PRACTICE to work on egg beatering and shooting with a weight belt on. This will get you a lot stronger and help your overall skills in the game.
