Which skimboard shape is the best for long rides?

I whant more of an elongated one with the points at one end but will go with the shape with the longes ride. I'm 5'4 and weigh around 135 lbs. the only reason i say this is becuase differtant shapes have differant rides dependin on weight.

First, decide what brand of board you want to buy. There are lots to consider, but some of the best are Victoria, Exile, Land's End, Slotstik, Zap etc. If you buy one of their higher end wave riding boards, you should be fine, because those boards are ridden by the best in the world all day everyday. Make sure you check the weight sizing chart for information regarding the best size for you.

i like zap wedges they provide a skim and a good hold up in the wave but victoria and exile boards have the longest ride on the thin skim
