What paint is good for skis?

Can you paint a pair of water skis? and what would you paint them with?

  • I have a pair of water skis I am wanting to paint them pink... can you do that and what kind of paint should you use?????

    Visit a paint dealer. Chances are the best answer will be an epoxy 2 part paint. Coloring is a problem. Some bases will not accept pink pigments. You can clean up the skis, sand...use a pink undercoat and then overcoat it with epoxy..Other option, try an automotive paint shop or dealer.

honestly, why would you want to? A ski is designed for a specific purpose and, while I'm sure pink is just the thing to make you look great as a skier, it won't. you will wind up looking like some kind of poser. practice on the skis, using them properly... that will make you look better than any shade of pink.
