    1. River rapids are graded from I to VI. Grade VI is supposedly unrunable. If it is run it is then classified a Grade V. Think Niagara Falls! Rapid size or class depends on the volume of water at a given time. Some Grade V rapids become Grade II as the water volume decreases. Some Grade II rapids are graded higher if flooding occurs. 2. You need to make a worldwide search. Try Alaska for the 'River of No Return'. Consider the Colorado River. 3. All rivers that can be rafted are 'good'. A small river rafted with a small raft in high water may be more exciting than a large river with a very large raft in low water.

1. Technically, the highest class is U, which stands for Unrunnable. Below that is class VI (or 6), which is only run by experts and crazy people. Most normal boaters run class III and IV, with an occasional V. 2. There are tough rivers all over the world. 3. The South Fork Snoqualmie is a good river, in my opinion. I could name a few hundred more, but I doubt that's what you want.
