What board should I get?

What brand/model wake board should I get?

  • I wakeboard pretty much every weekend... I currently ride a cwb board i tried to find a link with a picture of it but failed.. Im pretty sure its a beginner board. Its got one fin on each side and the fin to me seems kind of deep compared to other boards i see on the lake.. also i notice with most other boards i see they have three fins on each side that dont look to cut as deep in the water. the reason i even mention that is i feel like when im grinding the wake the fins sometimes snag the watter and i faceplant lol.. also the board feels kind of heavy...and also the bindings are not the sandal bindings but theyre not a boot either but anyways i guess im looking for a more professional board even tho im by no means a pro.. My weight hovers around 175-190.. I can get pretty big air and clear the wake easy, i have completed a front flip but im not consistent on the landing.. i feel like if i had a lighter board that i could pop off the wake better with it would be no problem. I think im looking into a hyperlight or liquid force but im not sure.. I just want a good board and good bindings.. im not concerned about the price that much. but yeah any opinions will help me decide and are appreciated.,.thanks!

    I switched from liquid force to a better CWB. after several months i got back on the liquid force and hated it!! Try ronix. The "one" is supposedly the lightest out there, though with light weight you sacrifice durability. Any newer board that is intermediate or above will help your progression.

I would go with the Hyperlite or Byerly. All the big name companies make solid boards, its ulitmatemately gonna be on your preference. I would say get your self some good bindings and try out a couple boards you buy from criagslist. When your done sell them and buy that new one.

I have a liquid force flight and like 3 other ones and I would recommend you use a liquid force I can do so many tricks and my favorite tricks I learned on my liquid force
