What are some good weight routines for water polo?

I'm a sophomore, gonna take water polo next spring for the first time?

  • gonna take water polo next spring. how should i train? i am fully committed to dedicate time for exercise and good nutrition, etc. i am a bit on the overweight side and i have to lose weight anyway, so i'm planning on training well to become fit to be healthy and to be good at water polo. good tips with nutrition/diet balanced with exercise training for water polo?

    practice alot on head up frontcrawl and water polo back stroke (back crawl but in a more sitting up postion and u are doing whip kick instead of flutter kick)
