When it comes to windsurfing, what is the difference between freeride, race and slalom?

Just confused about these categories as I am entering data to an online store with already existent categories, and one of them is Freeride/Race together, but from the source I am getting, they do not list both together and I am seeing a lot of boards under "slalom" performance.
