What Skim board do i get next?

okay i way around 140 pounds and i already have a wooden skim board but i don't want to just skim on a little bit of water and sand i want to hit a couple little waves or at least try to anyways but i don't know what board to go to next so will you PLEASE help me and tell me what size and type board i should get that would be the best for me to use on the things that i said i wanted to do more with my board above^^^^ so if you would please help me and point me in the right direction i would be appreciated alot!!! (:

Hi Addie I would recommend a fiberglass board such as a Zap or wave zone boards I would get anywhere from a 49" or higher these boards do cost more than wooden boards. They cost anywhere from $150+. I got my fiberglass board a year ago from wave zone and it is perfect for me even when there are no waves you can still ride it as if it was a perfect skimming day
