How do I hook up two outboard motors on a boat?
-
My grandpa is giving me a 15ft fiberglass boat and two motors. Not sure if they are the same hp or not. The boat is pretty much just a shell, but I would like a boat with a steering wheel. I dont think just one of the motors would be enough, and would like to use both, but dont even know where to start or what I would need. Thanks!

Well first of all they would have to be the same exact engines or they wouldn't power the boat evenly. If they are the same you will need all the steering apparatus and throttle components to synchronize them. With out seeing your set up, to be realistic I would probably say that it wouldn't be worth the money and work involved.
