What size surfboard should I ride?
-
I have surfed before but am definitely still a beginner. I am 6' 2 205 pounds and want something that is still maneuverable.

Answer:
You should probably use a 7 foot 8 inches to a 8 foot 6 inches. As you progress you can move to a smaller board but a beginner would like a larger board to get up on. I suggest you rent a board and when you are comfortable buy an 8 foot 2 inch board to a 8 foot board because of your height and weight. To maneuver this board for beginners lean on your toes or heels and experiment until you are comfortable.
