SUP poaddle boarding for exercise?

Hi, I know that SUP paddle boarding offers great exercise and many of us SUP for the fitness aspect of the sport. Anybody here who can advise on what I can do to maximize my time by getting more exercise while enjoying the waters? What do you do like routines and specific SUP workouts that I could use? thanks
