How do I get Yahoo Antispy?

How do i get id of spy ware and ad ware that yahoo antispy cannot?

  • yahoo got rid of alot but still have 2 spyware andb 3 adware that antispy says canont completly delete from system 1-is lsearch the ther is lmlserver IEplugin

    I suggest you try Yahoo! antispy in Safe mode. Safe Mode often prevents the malware from running and protecting itself. If that doesn't work, I also suggest you download Ad-Aware SE and Spybot S&D (they’re free), install them, update them and run them. If any of the above don't seem to be able to get rid of everything it reports finding, try running it again, this time in Safe Mode. Also, turn off System Restore to evict any copies of bad stuff that might be lurking there. To get into Safe Mode: 1. Log out and reboot your machine. 2. When the machine starts the reboot sequence, press the F8 key repeatedly. 3. Select Safe Mode from the resulting menu. 4. The machine will continue booting, but the Windows desktop will look different. You won't be able to see the Internet, for instance. Log in as Administrator. Administrator often has no password. 5. When you're finished, log out and reboot back into normal mode. Update and run them all regularly. Good luck.

Yahoo Anti-spy cannot even be considered a mediocre malware removal product. Too many false positives and too few updates. And it scans only a tiny portion of your hard drive. YAS is total garbage. Download and scan your machine, on a regular basis, with one of these GOOD anti-spyware /anti-adware programs. SUPERAntiSpyware: http://www.superantispyware.com/ A-Squared: http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/free/ Ewido (Now called AVG Anti-Spyware) do not download AVG anti-virus. http://www.ewido.net/en/download/ All the above have a free edition, that's probably what you will want to download. These scans will take a LOT longer than what you are used to with the Yahoo product. That's good; it is doing a complete scan and a full spyware check!
