How i stop commercials on sites?

How can i stop my employee stop visiting inconvenient web sites?

  • I have a major problem. I have a little shop of my own and i have an employee. Sometimes i leave him alone when i return i notice that he visited some porn web sites during that time. As well as it is not appropriate in a little shop like mine, he downloaded lots of viruses from that sites. And since he's an elderly man (40 years old) and i am a 21 year old girl, it's so embarrising for me to talk to him about that situation. Any ideas? For instance can i forbid this sites from my computer? I really dont want to talk to him about this. I just need some preventions.

    Use a web filtering software such as K9 Web Protection which is free & can be downloaded from: http://www.k9webprotection.com/ It will, by default, block all porn sites and other bad stuff. You can configure it to block more websites if you wish to, regardless of what web browser he uses. Hope this helps :)

If you really didn't want to have to confront him at all about this, do what メランコリー suggested and install K9 - then let your employee know that your ISP has insisted you to use it because they are detecting spamming attacks coming from your computer due to downloaded viruses. I know some ISP's in the UK do request that their customers use certain programs if excessive spam comes from their machines, so its not exactly a complete lie :)

There is a soft ware that you can buy called surf patrol, this soft ware blocks all xxx rated sites ( porn ) you list in the soft ware. This soft ware cost 39.00 dollars from best buy, walmart or target. Or you can type this in the search bar SURF PATROL SOFT WARE and click search. this will take you a lot of sites that sell the product. It is easy to install and operate. You can use this product on multiple computers.

First you can logoff you computer after you leave your shop otherwise you can block web site also just go to Start-Setting-Control panel and just click on internet options and click on the privacy tab and click the sites tab and last you just type that web site which you want to block then click on Block Tab.

You can get a computer guy to block all the rude websites if you want to, they have that at school, i think its called something like red block or something like that, ask a computer person to block them for you, or if you have to, fire him!

lay down the law, tell the guy to stop it, if you are not confident to do this, just restrict the hours on the internet, or lower your bandwidth so it rruns to slow for him
