They block it for a reason. Unless you are some computer geek there is no way. Plus if you get caught you will get in trouble. So lets just say you cant.

You can check at home I believe. You aren't missing anything.

Don't try to get through the blocks at school. They can track everything you do, and if you're caught, you can get in serious trouble. You'll be breaking their acceptable use policy.

Getting past web filtering systems to get onto Facebook will only get you a detention or banned from using school computers. Facebook will be there waiting for you get home from school.

I don't know what you guys are talking about there is a way. Ok the first thing you need to do is signup for a site called logmein.com. Then when you are logged in download the necceaary files onto you computer at home. Now keep your computer on and go to school. Now at school go onto the Logmenin website so you can acess your computer from home and then just use the Logmenin website thing to get to facebook. This way your really just giong on Facebook from your computer at home.

HELP PLEASE

You have to "confuse" -in a way- the computer and log in through another server than the one they are using at school. You can google about it but it's a big nuisance and I don't find a reason for that! There are alot of computers in the world to check your e-mails and facebook!

You don't. None proxies should work. School's are legally bound by the federal Children's Internet Protection Act to block proxies, facebook and the like. Schools have to take this seriously to get certain technology funding. All the proxies you try should be blocked by your school. That is because most schools use content blocking software. It blocks proxies 98% of the time because of their content (that they are a proxy), not because of the web address. Also there are admins like me securing the system, adding any the system may miss (listed on proxy lists and even here) by adding them to the DNS blacklist. You are very very unlikely to find one that works and even then it will only work for a short time until they know you are using it. Your risking your computer rights/detention/suspension by trying to bypass their security.

Schools block these sites because they are of NO educational value. If you attempt to circumvent or break conditional access controls, your account could be terminated and you could be expelled from school. Use school computers for school and you can check out Facebook when you get home from school. Respect the rules.
