You did all you can do. Unless the person your hiding it from is an expert with computer hacking, they wont find it. And i its illegal then your already doomed because the government has already recorded where your computer has been. Its easy to trace which servers youve visited. I would suggest using this though, it cleans mine up nice and good: http://www.webroot.com/En_US/consumer-products-windowwasher.html EDIT: DO NOT use google chrome like that guy down below suggested. You will be hacked most likely, stick with firefox!

Well I don't know about Mozilla,I think that you cant do so..........but if you still wanna do that why don't you use Google Chrome. Its free and it can be downloaded from google The best part is that if you don't want to register a site then you can go into incognito mode You can download it from here: http://www.google.com/chrome

When you delete something on your computer what you actually do is delete the memory reference to those particular HDD sectors that contain that data. If you don't write something on top of that "unlinked" data you can figure that someone with the right gear can scan your HDD and see what it actually has on it. If you delete it from Mozilla's own menu you can be sure that, unless your mom/dad/sis/bro doesn't spend at least 20 bucks and sends your HDD to a specialist, they won't be able to see your browsing history. So chill and surf at will! XO

Go to history, click show all history, right click and delete. The only problem is that you have to delete every url 1 by 1.

There is a tool called "Clean up". Not only does it permanently delete web sites you visited, but it helps your computer fun faster by removing those excess files from your web searches. By the way--it's free.

trust me, clearing private data does permanently delete the data.
