From a priority perspective, you don't want to remove your firewall as it is the most important device on your network. Here is an idea of how to tackle this problem....... 1) Identify what type of firewall you have. 2) Go to the vendors website and look at the user manual for the firewall. 3) Search the user manual for the phrase - "port forwarding". Port forwarding will create a hole in your firewall specifically for the stream created by your webcam. Basically, you allow the stream by opening the port and then forwarding it to the IP Address of the machine which has the webcam. In short, don't cut off your nose to spite your face - you need the firewall.
