How to recover corrupted word document?

How do you recover a Word Document file that has been infected by a Trojan horse?

• i printed a copy of my thesis at an internet shop last month (using my flash disk), and then, at home the next day, i find out that my thesis file has been infected by a trojan horse with an ".scr" extension. i've tried healing the file with anti-virus programs but all it does is DELETE it... when i really want to RECOVER the file. i do have a backup copy of my old thesis draft but i was hoping i could recover that particular thesis file since it included some crucial corrections that will take me forever to correct if i have to use the old file instead. does anyone out there know a program that can clean the virus off the WORD document and get it back in its natural state instead of resorting to having to delete the file.   Is ur word file chaged by its extensios as .scr file or there is another file created by the trozan horse as .scr extension?? If the .odc file changed its extension then there is no chance to recover it. Otherwise u can find it if the .doc file is there with the .scr file which is a virus file then u should delete the .scr file and take the .doc file.
