How can I bypass my computer's firewall to download music?

This question is for the computer saavy. I have been using one of the download programs to download songs. One day it was working just fine, but all of a sudden, the firewall kicked in and stopped it. How can I circumvent the firewall and continue my project?

There isnt really a reason to "Bypass" the firewall... You should deffinatly see about "Allowing" your program in the firewall.. most if not all firewalls that are standard and work correctly, should have a way to go in and put an exception for a program... I know the XP firewall does.. Norton does.. not so sure about AVG, though i never liked that one.. check around for it.. you should really try to not turn the firewall off.. that's just a bad idea.

right click on the firewall icon in the bottom right corner and either disable the whole program or choose to allow that particualr download program.
