Remove any and all virus programs then down load and use only one. More than one virus program or Internet security program will cause a conflict between the programs. If you wan to keep from having these virus, spyware, malware, key logger problems install Norton Internet Security using a new boxed edition and install using the CD. Some times one just has to re install Windows to get rid of the worst bugs. Reinstalling the operating system is foolish. If you don't know why you've the virus on your computer, you'll likely install it again (viri can't infect your computer without your intervention). This means you'd be continually formatting. Reboot, start hitting the F8 key every second or two, as soon as the machine turns on, till it gives you the option to start in Safe Mode. Enter Safe Mode With Networking Support. When windows boots, and you log on if necessary, hold the Windows key on your keyboard (its the key with this logo on it http://img474.imageshack.us/img474/1825/windows98od1.jpg), and press R. Release both keys. The run window will open. Type: msconfig then hit enter. The System Config. window will open. Click on the Startup tab. Uncheck anything you do not recognize. You can't break anything by unchecking too much. This alone *may* fix the issue. Now install AVG (http://free.avg.com/ca-en/homepage). It may require you restart as part of the install, I can't remember. An icon for it will appear at bottom left of your screen, near the system clock, in the system tray. Its a square icon that looks like this: http://www.arbor.edu/uploadedImages/Technology_SS/Staff/avg.sys.icon.png Right click on that AVG icon, choose Scans->Scan Whole Computer, let it run.
