How do I delete System Security?

I downloaded some stupid system security tool thing by accident... how do i delete it?

  • a stupid pop up comes up Every 10 seconds now... i tried to delete it and it said "you need permission to continue" and i already gave it permission!!!

    I'm just taking a shot in the dark here, but was it one of those things that popped up and claimed you had a security issue (but is not your antivirus software), and it wanted to scan? There's a virus like that, actually... It wouldn't hurt to disconnect from the internet and run your real antivirus program, just to be sure.

go under your control panel and select add or remove programs. install that program then run some REAL virus protection such as AVG to clean your pc up

check foe the exe in task manager and delete it. you also have to delete it from the hard drive by usind the exe to find it. you can also restore your computer to an earlier date to the settings before you installed it. check for these in help and support and it will guide you through the processes
