Removing a computer virus causing pop up ads and fake warnings- NEED HELP!!?

Step 1: Make sure that you have an up to date antivirus program. If you don't, install AVG. You should only have one antivirus program. (If you need to uninstall your antivirus, use RevoUninstaller) Step 2: Visit the Google Pack website, and use it to download Spyware Doctor. Step 3: Download and install ThreatFire. Step 4: Make sure to use Mozilla's Firefox from here on out. Also, install the Adblock Plus and NoScript add-ons for it. Step 5: Make sure that you have a firewall program on your computer. If you don't, install Comodo. Step 6: Turn off System Restore, and restart in safe mode Step 7: Launch Spyware Doctor and make sure to update it by clicking on the Smart Update button. Step 8: Run an Intelli Scan, uncheck, "create restore point...", and then click the fix button. Repeat until intelli scan doesn't find anything new. Step 9: Run a full scan. Step 10: If the full scan finds something, run an intelli scan after. Step 11: Run a full scan with your Antivirus program. Step 12: Restart. If everything is fixed, you can stop now. hly sh*t.. i dont know what that is.. but im interested in knowing more.. I have weird warnings ever since i got my laptop a few weeks ago.. i have XP. i get warnings that make no sense, but i cant remember what they say. what do your warnings say? i remeber seeing something like "exception cannot be thrown" or something..

If you are using default browser of windows then it is a problem. but if you are using any other browser then just reinstall it. Try to use spyware Doctor.
