How do I delete System Security?

System Security virus.. can't run any programs.. found location of the virus and cannot delete!! HELP PLEASE!?

  • so i have this virus.. i know it is from previous experience.. well i found where the virus was located and im trying to delete it, but i can't because the program is running... i cant even run task manager. i re-enabled it through regedit.. but when i open it, it immediately closes... im so frustrated... i cant install anything or run any programs.. please help me

    you can run security tools in a safe mode. anyway, you don't really need security tools to remove this infection. here's manual removal guide: http://www.spywarevoid.com/system-security-removal-guide-remove-system-security.html you couldn't delete the folder because the program was running at the moment. but when you follow the removal guide step by step, you stop the program first and then you delete the malicious files.

What is the name of the virus? try downloading and running STINGER from mcafee http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/ if it dosent work try running it in safe mode

if u delete that virus and restart it will be there itself because ithe virus is in windows registry.and if u del virus from registry it will come back for some reason now to get rid of the problem i wold suggedt 1.format your pc 2.system restore 3.if possible install antivirus(bitdefender 2009-recommended)update it scan and remove. 4.if my steps of removing virus try this (it will work) First of all we should try to back-up our data that is most important to us. if our computer is on network, just disconnect it from the network so that the virus should not spread in to the other computers. Now run a good Anti Virus on the computer to scan for the viruses. After the viruses are found by the anti-virus try to remove them with it. Some times the viruses are internet Trojan horses or spyware, in that case you should use good anti-spyware to remove them. to recover task manager CLIK START MANU --> RUN --> TYPE GPEDITMAS-->USER CONFIGRESAN-->ADMINISTRATTETIV TEMPLAS-->SYSTEM-->CTRI+ALT+DEL+-->OPTIO… TASKMANEGER-->RIT CLIK-->PROPALTIS-->ENEBAL AND NOT CONFIGESAN to prevent further threats 1.install best antivirus like (bitdefender 2009-recommended) and update it regularly. 2.dont open email attachments before scanning 3.use usb,cd,floppy only after scanning. 4.update windows 5.use a good firwall 5.dont go to virus infected sites or dont download anything from them 6.install good anti-spyware on our computer 7.if possible go for antivirus hardware 8.In the Internet Explorer go to go to Tools icon then go to the Internet Options. Then click the security tab and select Highest security option on the slider. Then click Apply and Ok and please vote for me
