How do i get the old tool bar?

How do I get the old Yahoo tool bar back? Norton trial doesn't support Win ME. Answer didn't work. Thanks.

  • I tried the answer I got, but it didn't work. Got the same yahoo toolbar. I have installed the new ad aware and that does find some stuff. I really need to get the old Yahoo spyware back.

    I checked www.oldapps.com and it is not listed there. Also checked my own local software archive and unfortunately do not have an older copy, not even the archive copy of the Yahoo Toolbar I currently have installed (which is NOT the newest version with Norton). If you do not frequently empty your temporary files, you may still have a copy of it sitting there. Do Start / Run / %temp% to open your temporary files directory, then sort by type. Scan the .EXE files to see if there is a file there (probably starting with letter 'Y') to see if you still have the executable from a prior installation. Sorry I couldn't help more. Thanks though for the reminder to archive my software downloads, I like the ability to roll back to previous versions. Good luck finding it.
