Amazon sent me an e-mail. Subject line: Your order has been canceled. I did not order anything from Amazon for?
-
I did not order anything from Amazon.com. I have in the past but not lately. Today I received another questionable e-mail, the subject line stated: "reguarding your order from Reiki webstore" from [email protected]. I have ordered items from their site but not of late. The misspellings are correct to the problem.

Answer:
Be careful, normally these types of emails are virus or trojan horses. Don't open them if you don't know what they are, just delete them, and then go to the Official Amazon web site and check your account. If you had an order or some other type of problem, there will be a notice in your account at the official web site. Same with almost all other business's, delete any suspicious emails without opening them, and then go to the official web site for that business and check your account. If you open these types of emails, they will contain a virus or other malware and infect your computer.

Sounds like a phishing email (Yes spelt like that). Under no circumstances click any link in the email, and just add the address to your spam filter. If it is actually sent from something like [email protected], take a look in the massage source (you may need to look up how to do this based on your email client/provider) and see if the original sender matches the shown sender as it can be spoofed Hope this helped Alex

This is a scam. Do not click any links. Report the email to Amazon. They have a department I think where you can forward that email to them. I repeat, do not click on any links or give your password or any other information to this email.

I wouldn't attempt to reply. If you do it might be some kind of trap. Just forget about it and they'll probably leave you alone.

sometimes these can be scams or just misplaced emails, check your bank account to see if anything has been purchased. If not, then ignore it. Best regards.

If it's from Amazon, I will guarantee with 100% confidence, it would NOT be misspelled. Never reply to them, but if you have to be sure whats it's about, visit that company's website directly and copy/paste the email info into a "contact us" email on their site. :) GL
