Hotmail account names?

How to remove invisible contact in "to" part of Hotmail?

  • When I want to send a letter out via Hotmail(whether on Firefox or I.E. when I click on the "To" button to get the list of names I have one at the end called "NakedChatshh". It is not listed as a contact anywhere else and I never put it there and it only shows up in the "To" box. How do I terminate it. And no, I do not want to nuke my Hotmail account. I have run antivirus Avira , Malwarebytes, Crapcleaner,SpybotSD and none of these see this. I am more concerned about it being a Trojan or other spyware. And I definitely do not want it spreading to my friends computers.

  • Answer:

I had the same problem. I found in my jumkmail there was an e-mail from some random name inviting me to that "NakedChatshh" chat group. I deleted the e-mail and reported it to MSN as a potentially dangerous e-mail. But even after deleting, the "NakedChatshh" thing still showed up in the list from the "To" box. Solution: I went into "Contacts." You won't find the contact in your list, because you haven't added them. But, while you're in "Contacts", on the left side there is an option that says "View invitations". If you click on that, then it will show the invitation to the "NakedChatshh" group. Just reject the invitation, and it will disappear from your "To" list. At least, that worked for me.
