How do i hide applications from the taskbar?

Is there any software i can get. I want to be able to hide any application in the taskbar. For example minsweeper. Im highly computer literate, so no stupid answers please

There is an small program called "Taskbar Hide 1.28"... real good... you can get from "BearShare" (filesharing program" or get the demo version from http://www.eusing.com good luck!

Right Click on Taskbar at the bottom>properties>look around for the customizeation of the taskbar

Being highly computer literate haven't tried Googling it dude?.....have u tried "msconfig" or u just want to hide keeping it running behind...

Type msconfig in Start->Run and there is a inbuilt utility in which go to the last tab namely "Startup" and remove or uncheck the tools which you want to remove.
