How to remove program when Add or Remove Programs won't let me?
-
The following message keeps popping up on my computer every 5 minutes or so: LIVING~1.SRC has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lose. Please tell Microsoft about this problem. We have created an error report that you can send to us. We will treat this report as confidential and anonymous. To see what data report contains, click here. Then I have the options to: Debug, Send Error Report, Don't Send, all of which I've tried, but the error message keeps coming back. I think I know what the source of the problem is... I downloaded a screensaver from a web site awhile back but it slowed my computer down so I got rid of it (or so I thought). I tried going to Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel and saw "3D Fish School Screensaver 3.94" and clicked remove but when I click remove it says "File 'C:\Program Files\3D Fish School 3\unins000.dat' does not exist. Cannont uninstall. If it doesn't exist why is it showing up on my Add or Remove Programs list? Can anyone help me? Thanks!!

Whatever you are trying to remove, end its process if it has one in the taskmanager. Exit whatever application you want to remove. Then attempt to remove it, if it doesn't work, do it manually. Search Program Files in your hard drive folder and delete the appropriate. Then go into Documents and Settings and do the same, however, you must have the folder option show hidden files selected. Then search the registry and delete the appropriate key values. Then run "cleanmgr" and clean all disks. If you have Ccleaner installed, run that too

you can try manually deleting it in the directory where you installed them by deleting all the files in the folder then try uninstalling them again in add/remove programs and it will tell you that it's already uninstalled and will remove it from the list.

try removing it in safe mode. It looks like you tried to delete it manually before you went to the add/remove programs list. Did you? *Do what he said and if it's still on the list let me know i got something else for you to try *Do you need it more simplified?

You can remove this program by following these steps . 1 Download and install " Revo uninstaller " 2 And remove the program using this uninstaller . this revo uninstaller will remove all the registry files associated with that program .
You can remove any programs using the "Revo-uninstaller" program. It is freely available to download from the link "http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uni…
