How To Open Zip Files?

How to open Zip files with a password? I have it.?

  • I have the password to open a zip file my friend sent to me but I don't know how or wen to type it in, in order to open it. Any help?

  • Answer:

Just extract the files (right click and then click "extract all" or something along those lines) and it will give you a chance to put in the password then (a little box should pop up). I hope this helps, I'd be more specific but this sort of thing varies from computer to computer.

Extract your file with winrar, winzip, 7zip etc..... And when you do it will ask you for a password. Enter it and there you go :)

It depends which Zip file software you have installed. For many common softwares, including default windows zip tool, simply right click the zip file that you have and click on extract (unzip) here. It will automatically ask you for the password, just enter the one you have and it will export the file in the same folder where u have password protected zip file.

Your friend should have the password that came w/ it. Or its protected w/ the password and can't never be opened, unless someone has the password to the file.
