How do i get rid of content advisor?

Anybody know anything about 'content advisor'? How do I turn it off or get rid of it?

  • Made some changes in setting & now I get a window every time I click on something, on internet or not, that says 'content advisor' to click on whether I want to OK or cancel and mark/pick choice of 'always want to view webpage or site'. It doesnt work. Have XP Home. Restoring didn't work. What else can I do? Would appreciate any help.

  • Answer:

I am giving you the procedure to turn off 'Content Advisor' used in Microsoft Internet Explorer. 1. Open Internet Explorer. 2. Go to Tools and click 'Internet Options'. It will display a window of 'Internet Options'. 3. Click on the 'Content Tab'. Immediately you fill find 'Content Advisor'. Click on 'Disable'. This will turn off 'Content Advisor' The above procedure is for Microsoft Internet Explorer 7. It may work for earlier versions of Internet Explorer also. However, if your system administrator has restricted the rights to change this setting, you may not be able to turn off the content advisor.
