There is " X" mark next to your browser search history.Click it it won't load the web page;or you work offline no web page will be loaded.

To block it from your home network (if you are using home router), you can filter it from the admin menu (block domains). If you want to restrict from your IE Browser, select Tools>Internet Options>the Security Tab>Restricted Sites> then simply add the web address you want to block.
