I hope you have antivirus program. go to that program site and update your antivirus definitions. Now disconnect Internet connection. then turn off your system restore: Click Start > Settings > Control Panel. 2 Double-click System. If the System icon is not visible, click View all Control Panel options. 3 On the Performance tab, click File System. 4 On the Troubleshooting tab, check Disable System Restore. 5 Click OK. Now go to RUN command and type MSCONFIG * Click Start, Run and type MSCONFIG in the box and click OK * The System Configuration Utility appears, On the BOOT.INI tab, Check the "/SAFEBOOT" option, and then click OK and Restart your computer when prompted. * The computer restarts in Safe mode. * Perform complete computer Scan and delete or quarantine any virus threats found. When you are finished with troubleshooting in Safe mode, open MSCONFIG again, on the BOOT.INI tab, uncheck "/SAFEBOOT" and click OK to restart your computer. Now you can connect the internet. Hope your problem will get solved woth the steps above. I think these are just Adwares and will not very dangerous but please dont not subscribe to any site offered to you. All the Best. Regards, Hardik

A lot of times messages such as warning! win32/adware.virtumonde are used to scare computer users into purchasing a rogue program. This time the warning! win32/adware.virtumonde is pushing the XP-Guard rogue anti-spyware program onto computer users. Do not fall for this trick, remove the Trojan infection immediately. “Warning! Win32/Adware.Virtumonde” popup is a sign of malware presence. Do not trust experts saying “we have program to remove “Warning! Win32/Adware.Virtumonde” error message or that it is essential to perform timely removal of “Warning! Win32/Adware.Virtumonde” alert. They can give you antispyware capable only to eliminate pop-ups, but the roots would remain untouched. One day sooner or later comes when you are wandering how it comes to this, all pop-ups have been eliminated long time ago but system has been crushed suddenly!? The problem is clear – you uploaded wrong medicine. “Warning! Win32/Adware.Virtumonde” alerts is annoying itself, but you need not just eliminate it by blocking pop-ups, complex malware removal is to be performed. It is recommended to remove “Warning! Warning! Win32/privacyremover.M64 is a new Fake message which is associated with AntivirusXP2008, Antivirus XP 2008, Antivirus 2008, Antivirus 2009. Rogue AntiSpyware software. The message says: “WARNING! Spyware detected on your computer! Install an antivirus or spyware remover to clean your computer. Warning! Win32/Adware.Virtumonde Warning! Win32/privacyremover.M64“. Usually, when you see a message like this in your PC it is usually a desktop background which was changed to such writing, as described in the warning above. There is, though, a small but crucial difference between the reality and the suggestion, namely, this warning message was produced by a trojan, o another malware to trick you into buying the related useless and harmful products like AntivirusXP2008, Antivirus XP 2008, Antivirus 2008, Antivirus 2009. Do not trust the warning and remove Win32/privacyremover.M64, and the related software, as soon as possible. http://www.pcthreat.com/parasitebyid-7027en.html

Even I had one. Although there are many ways but the best would be to just download few antivirus softwares and install one of them. Just start the computer in safe mode which would be by turning off your computer from the main plug while it starts. Then restart it, on restarting it you will find a window which has a few options, select safe mode. Run a scan, if you get rid of it then it's fine but it if not restart it normally. Then uninstall the earlier one and install a different one. Repete the proccess and you will find that its gone. A few antiviruses are:- 1) Avast free 2) Spyware Terminator 3) Norton 360 trial (no money) 4) Spybot S&D.

firstly please tellme which anti-virus you are using is it trial or genuine ! (if it is trial version it would expire in 15 to 30 days and it would not take update from the quick heal centre ) secondly i would suggest you to try quick heal anti-virus 2008 (genuine or full version )

I used an aluminum bat, 32 in,34oz. But you could buy one of the many anti-virus protetors or ask an IT professional.

Go to your Start Menu> Programs> accessories> System Tools> and select "System Restore" Choose the earliest date you can get, hopefully it was before you got the virus. If not, seek further assistance to revert your computer OEM. Theres a way to do it through a system restore also. The small hidden partition on your hardrive is used for OEM reboot, atleast to my knowledge
