How To Bypass Firewall?

How do I disable/bypass a Netgear firewall?

  • My dad put up a firewall on a website I use and I want to get past it. How do I do this? If I type in the URL it comes up with a black screen that says "Web site blocked by NETGEAR firewall." I tried signing into Netgear with the username "admin" and password "password" (the default) but it's not working. Since the username can't be changed, I he must have changed the password. Is this the same as the wireless code? Anyone know how I could find out? Is there a way to use ports to bypass it? Talking to him is out of the question, we don't get along.

  • Answer:

Easy, move out of daddy's house, stop using daddy's computer, and get your own, stop using daddy's internet service, and get your own. Works 100% of the time. ***************************************… Um, excuse me you sniveling little brat, but this is computer SECURITY forum, and you are in violation of the terms of use for yahoo answers asking how to bypass security for your DADS house/computer/router. If your too young to move out of daddy's house just deal with it.

Seems like Netgear firewall is every dad's new best friend! Try going to the website using the IP address. In the case of facebook it is "69.63.176.13" so simply type that in your address bar without the quotation marks and you should be set. go on start -> run -> cmd and type: ping www.whatever the website.com it will come up with numbers copy it into the address bar and there you have it :) also try dese sites http://www.cantblock.us http://www.blockednomore.com

by using VPN, you can by pass every strict firewall. A VPN can help you to being anonymous and access all block websites While you approach a VPN provider, it gives you a public IP address that is likely to be shared by other users as well. As a result, your system becomes more prone to accept any bad packet data being sent by any third party, intending for identity theft. The wireless router you use deters to cease any such traffic since the transfer is being carried out over a secure VPN connection. Therefore, to avoid the transmission of such malicious content, NAT firewall holds high significance.
