How do I change my WiFi SSID name and add a password?

After i set my password for linksys, i cant find my ssid. What do i do?

• So after i change the password for my wifi, the SSID name changes on my laptop but is the ame on my ipod. When i type in the password my ipod tells me it is wrong. What do I do? Please help me

  I don't understand your specific question? Is your laptop working but not your iPod? To get into the router, type 192.168.1.1 into your browser, and when asked type the word admin for the password. If you haven't changed it, that should get you into the router and you can then set the ssid to broadcast and change the password at the same time. If that doesn't work, plug into the router with an ethernet cable to your computer then press the reset button for 10 seconds on the router. That puts the router back to the way it came from the factory. At that point, 192.168.1.1 in the browser then typing the word admin as a password will get you into the router to make up a new password for the network users.
