    If you want free then I recommend Avast , superantispyware and Malwarebytes. coupled with Comodo firewall They are all free for personal use . It is safe to use two anti-spy products but never use more than one A/V as it can cause conflicts. You should run A/V and anti spy weekly.

Microsoft Security Essentials is pretty good. From my own experience, I think Malewarebyte's is more accurate and easier to use but the free version does not provide active protection like MSE.

A good anti-virus program would be AVG. Which is free. You can download this here http://free.avg.com/gb-en/download

For free, Panda Cloud or Avast.

Vipre Anti Virus(U.S & Canada only i think). I have it and its the best system. If not try "Kaspersky" thats #1 in Russia.(Dont worry its international so U.S is good too)

do not believe free antivirus programs are protect your computer well if protects well why they sell. use kaspersky pure total protection
