How do I send and receive an anonymous text message?
-
I would like to send a text message to someone's cell phone on an anonymous basis (meaning the party can't see my cell phone number). How can I do this (either via the web or phone), and is there a way that the party can reply so I can read it?

Answer:
Lol @ the people here that have no clue and yet give advice. I send anonymous texts as pranks and also when I don't want to get billed for them :D http://anontext.com/ Basically just put the info in, and send the text message. Enjoy.

If you know the person's service provider, you can send text messages anonymously via the provider's Web interface. For instance, Verizon Wireless has vtext.com.
