How do I get rid of Spyware without screwing my whole computer up?
-
I haveeeee Spyware. Don't ask me how I got it, it's really stupid. -____- Anyway, to get rid of it, I've tried scanning with four programs: Avast, Spybot, Windows Defender and Ad-Aware. Ad-Aware was the last, and it found a few things that the first three missed. After I deleted them, I restarted my laptop and none of my downloaded programs would start. Things like Notepad worked fine, but none of my programs that usually open on start up opened, and I couldn't use any of my browsers or anti-virus programs or...anything. None of it worked in Safe Mode, either. Anyway, I ran a System Restore to the point before I ran Windows Defender because it was my last checkpoint. Now I can use all of my programs, but I still have the Spyware. >w> It's not one of those fake Anti-Virus ones, if that helps. I've seen a lot of questions about those. It does create pop-ups, though, and when I use search engines, I have to copy and paste the links to the results they generate because the web pages get replaced by ads whenever I just click on them. It's...really annoying and I'd like some kind of solution that doesn't involve me hauling my laptop to a shop and getting it looked at for whatever amount of money. If it helps, I'm running Windows 7. I don't really know a WHOLE lot about computers soooo I'm just assuming it might be good to know what operating system I use. ANYWAY, please help. I'm going insaneeeeeeeeeeeeeeenenenenene. :c

Download Hitman pro 3.5 it will remove all spyware it will find all traces and remove them. Also don't try and run all the programs at the same time and always do a full scan never a quick scan.

download superantispyware free edition and also malwarebytes1.46 for free that was the only thing that help me
If I were you, i'd just leave the hassle of trying to remove all the spyware and just do a clean install of Windows. Make sure you back up all important data onto something like a flash drive or external hard drive (but make sure you don't back up anything infected) and use the Windows installation CD to do a clean install.

You should use an antivirus program and antispyware software, because your computer is now infected with viruses and/or spyware. Here you have more information on computer security, as well as good and free programs that you can download into your computer: http://toptenantispywareviews.com
I suggest you try RegRun Reanimator. It has saved my *** a couple of times when usual AV software was useless and it's free for non-commercial use... After scan it shows you list suspicious files and asks what to do with each one, so you better check with google so you don't delete some driver files...
dowload AVast anti-virus its free and will remove that junk from ur computer
Hi there, Scan your system with Kaspersky antivirus and system cleaner Reginout. I hope your problem would be solved. If not yet, follow these steps: Step 1. Download a pop-up killer. A pop-up killer is a tool that runs in the background on your computer catching the pop-up windows automatically. This is the first step to get rid of all pop-up windows, mainly because it is easy to install and run a pop-up killer nowadays and most pop-up blockers does not need any configuration at all. We recommend Stop-the-Pop-Up, which is free and compatible with most browsers, such as Internet Explorer, Netscape, Opera, Mozilla, SBC Yahoo and NetCaptor. Step 2. Scan your computer for adware and spyware. If the pop-up killer did not solve the pop-up problem completely you might want to scan your computer for adware and spyware. This dubious type of software usually monitors your internet activity to open pop-up ads that fit your preferences. They spy on you, pure and simple. GAIN and SaveNow are two notorious adware applications that open pop-up windows. We recommend that you scan your computer with Bazooka Adware and Spyware Scanner which seems to be frequently updated. SpyBot is also a great spyware scanner. Step 3. Drop Internet Explorer. Join Mozilla and Opera. Mozilla is an open-source browser developed by a community of developers. Netscape Corporation initiated the project was in 1998. The Mozilla browser is available for free and has a built-in popup blocker. Another browser well worth mentioning is the Norwegian flagship Opera which impress with its speed and has a pop-up stopper feature. As Mozilla, Opera is also available for free. The only drawback with the Opera browser is that it displays banner ads in its user interface. Try one of these browsers if you don't want to install a pop-up killer. Step 4. Disable the Messenger service. Recently a new type of pop-up windows started to litter users' desktops. Spammers found out they could launch pop-up windows at the user desktop even when the user was not surfing the web. The spammers take advantage of a bug in the Microsoft Windows Operating system, which allows them to open pop-ups window with knowledge of the IP number only. Do not despair; you can stop the Messenger Service pop-ups too. Step 5. Make friends with the HOST file and block the ad servers. It is possible to block pop-ups and banner ads by editing the host file.
The problem with viruses and spyware is that trying to clean up an infected PC after those darn things have gotten in is like trying to lock the windows and doors on your house after the burglars are already inside. It's just too late in most cases. Most spyware is designed to try and remain dormant or undetectable until someone issues certain commands. It may actually replace the regular Windows programs with their own version, so you no longer have the original on the system. And if you try to perform a Windows System Restore to a valid checkpoint, that may not solve the problem. It's still there to re-activate at some point when you least expect it. In the meantime it's feeding your personal information and passwords out to some other place on the internet. How do you treat this issue? Here is the best approach: 1) Isolate or quarantine the laptop. Don't allow it any access on your network. Disconnect the network cable or disable your wifi until you can get that PC clean. 2) Re-install from the original media that you had for that laptop. Most brand-name laptops (Dell, Compaq, HP) come with a re-installation CD, or have a partition on the hard disk designed to reset the PC's O/S to what it was when it was sold to you. 3) The FIRST thing to install after the O/S would be a reliable anti-virus software. There are many out there, some cost lots of money, some are free. Just get one that you can trust to do the job and that offers regular periodic updates for their virus definitions. 4) Re-install any software that you know you can trust. Do this from your ORIGINAL media, not some copy you made. Microsoft Office, Outlook, drivers for your devices, special applications for your mobile devices like the Apple iStore, etc. Once you are back to a stable position with your laptop, make sure you keep the virus definitions up to date, and don't blindly accept any and all requests on the internet or from friends sending you emails to "Allow Program to run? Y/N" While it may be cool to download and install some new game from an online site, or use Limewire (or some other P2P tool) to share and download stuff, there is always a risk it will mess up and cost you hours or days of rebuilding the laptop again. Just try to avoid doing that on a PC or laptop with all your important data and files on it!
