How to create an international association?

How do I create an association folder in Control Panel?

• I think I might've deleted a program on my computer by accident because now my computer can no longer play 3gp files. I just wanna be able to watch my videos from my phone, on my computer, but this mesage pops up: This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association folder in the Folder Options control panel. How do I do this? I don't wanna have to keep right clicking and 'Open With....' Quicktime etc. thats long. PS. Better yet, is there any way I can find out all the stuff that I've deleted recently so I can find out what program I need to reinstall?

  Select open then browse for quick time and make sure the always open with is ticked ,thus associating the file type. Also have a look at auto play to decide what happens when you plug up your phone. You may have had a more fancy interface with the program you removed but you no longer have that do you. I think folder options are if you would like to import the phone contents after associating the files your computer should then know where to import too, should you want ,ie videos , jpeg's .
