How do you change the name on a primary user?

How do I change my Computers User Name?

  • I have Windows Vista, I have changed my User name through Control Panel , Account But when i go to My Computer > Vista > User's > The old username is there - Can i simply re name it? how do i change that name? Cheers

Right click computer and select properties. Under the Computer Name section look on the right side for Change settings. Toward the bottom of the Window you will see a section for changing the name.
