How to get rid of att homepage?

How do i get rid of a spyware that takes me to a spyware site as internet homepage?

  • i get an alert saying my computer is infected and no matter how many times i change my homepage setting it goes back to a spyware blocker site. in the homepage listing it comes up as about:blank

use an spyware protection and scan revomal, I use Microsoft AntiSpy Ware & AdAware SE Personal, they work great and there free as long as you keep it, its free scan and updates,:-)

I would recommend getting norton internet security software. My computer got infected by spyware and adware, norton removed it easily.

Get and run Microsoft Defender. Windows Defender is free from Microsoft. your just gonna have to buy something for it. I havn't found anything that works for free. I had that problem the other day, but now I have it all cleared up. Good luck. I know how bad it sucks. Just google spyware but I honestly don't think you can find something good unless you plan on spending at least $20.00 but you can use it over and over so I think its worth it.

download ADAWARE (free) from : http://www.lavasoft.de and it will easily remove the spyware and prevent further infestations.

Ouch, your browser has been hijacked! You can try running some antispyware programs such as Windows Defender which you can download for free using the link below however most anti-spy programs work better in protecting you from getting hijacked, rather than fixing the hijacked problem that already exists. If I were you, I would back up your hard-drive and re-image it by reinstalling the operating system and starting fresh. You can download a small program called Ccleaner (Crap Cleaner) and it does a great job and it can cleanup your registry also. It is freeware

avg antivirus - spybotsearch & destroy -adawere - zone alarm firewall. all are free at pcworld.com and you need all and then run each. to clean your pc.will work dont need to buy anything.did it for me.good luck
